Efisiensi Pakan, Energi Bruto Dan Feed Conversion Ratio Sapi Friesian Holstein Indonesia Pada Periode Laktasi Yang Berbeda

Efisiensi pakan merupakan refleksi dari Feed Conversion Ratio dan Feed Conversion Efficiency. Energi bruto mewakili total energi yang tersedia dalam pakan, sebagian dari energi itu hilang menjadi feses. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan dan mengidentifikasi efisiensi pakan, energi bruto dan feed conversion ratio sapi FH Indonesia pada beberapa periode laktasi yang berbeda. Materi yang digunakan 15 ekor sapi perah Friesien Holstein (FH) Indonesia dengan periode laktasi I-IV masing-masing sebanyak 6,4,3 dan 2 ekor. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif analitis dengan menghitung rata-rata. Parameter yang dihitung meliputi efisiensi pakan, feed conversion ratio dan efisiensi energi bruto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan periode laktasi ketiga adalah paling optimal dalam mengkonversi nutrien pakan untuk menjadi produk susu dengan nilai efisiensi pakan, feed convertion ratio dan efisiensi energi bruto masing-masing sebesar 82,85%, 1,21 dan 0,26
