Jurnal Nutrisi Ternak Tropis is a fully Open Access nationally journal

Jurnal Nutrisi Ternak Tropis  encompasses the full scope of animal nutritional science , including, but not limited to, fundamental aspects of animal nutrition such as nutritional requirements, metabolic studies, body composition, energetics, immunology, microbiology, genetics and molecular and cell biology related to nutrition of animal like ruminant (beef cattle and dairy), small ruminant (sheep, and goat),non-ruminant (broiler, laying hens, Quail, native chicken), Rabbit, Swine, Horse, and other related animal in tropical area. Furthermore, applied aspects of animal nutrition, such as raw material and feed resources evaluation, feed additives, nutritive value of novel ingredients, and feed safety.

The peer-review procedure guarantees the academic level and helps raise the reputation of the journal.

Peer Review Process

The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers by the single blind peer-review process. The peer review process will take approximately 14 regular days. The journal is published in twice a year.

Peer reviewers are external experts chosen by editors to provide written opinions, with the aim of improving the study. The action of peer review following terms:

1. Suggestion from authors as to who might act as reviewers are often useful, but there should be no obligation on editors to use those suggested.
2. The duty of confidentiality in the assessment of a manuscript must be maintained by expert reviewers and this extends to reviewers colleagues who may be asked (with the editors permission) to give opinions on specific sections.
3. Reviewers and editors should not make any use of the data, arguments, or interpretations, unless they have the authors permission.
4. Reviewers should provide speedy, accurate, courteous, unbiased and justifiable reports.
5. If reviewers suspect misconduct, they should write in confidence to the editor.
6. Journals should publish accurate descriptions of their peer review, selection, and appeals processes.
7. Journals should also provide regular audits of their acceptance rates and publication times.

Journal History

Jurnal Nutrisi Ternak Tropis (JNT) is a scientific open access journal published by Department of Animal Nutrition and Feed Sciences, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Brawijaya. JNT is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year in March and September. JNT aims to publish original research results and reviews on ruminant nutrition, non-ruminant nutrition and forage science.

We accept submission from all over the world. All submitted articles shall never been published elsewhere, original and not under consideration for other publication
